We have had issues with, particularly, delivery vans parking at the entrance to Emerald Square cresting issues for other vehicles accessing or leaving the square. They can also cause visibility issues for cars leaving the car park. We clearly need to allow delivery vans the ability to park but in such a way as not to cause an obstruction.
We have therefore agreed to install double red lines at the entrance to Emerald Square form Roehampton Lane and a short distance from the car park. This will still leave plenty of temporary parking space.
The red lines will be installed on July 7. Please ensure that your car is not parked in the entrance road so the work can proceed.
